Sheets Unlimited will install a Valmet IQ Quality Control System for corrugator at its facility in Washington state, according to the technology supplier Valmet.
The system includes combined paper temperature, moisture balance, total moisture and warp control with an interface to existing corrugator heating elements. The delivery incorporates Valmet IQ Warp Measurement, Valmet IQ Moisturizer, Valmet IQ Multipoint Moisture, and Microwave moisture measurement with automatic closed-loop controls. The system also includes an automatic moisturizing solution.
The technology targets moisture imbalance as the root cause of warp, combining precise moisture and warp measurements with advanced automation to minimize material waste and improve resource efficiency.
The order was recorded in Valmet's second-quarter 2026 intake. No order value was disclosed. Delivery is scheduled for the Q4 2026, with commissioning planned for January 2027.
