Durbiano srl was founded in Rivoli in 1922 by Ettore Durbiano, who, assisted by his three sons, began producing wooden crates for packaging. In 1960, the company relocated to its current site in the industrial area of Cascine Vica. In the early 1980s, it expanded its production by adding cardboard boxes to its shipping packaging range. Leveraging its expertise and product quality, Durbiano srl established a presence in foreign markets with its Plibox crates, activating distributors across major European countries and certifying new packaging models for transporting hazardous goods. Since 2012, the company has expanded its foldable crate offerings with an automated production line for Plitec crates, which was doubled in 2022.
