The rebuilt machine is running smoothly with a capacity of 150,000 tons of brown and white kraft paper per year and a paper witdth of 6,300 mm at the reel.

Andritz to deliver complete OCC line including a reject treatment system to Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper TBK. Start-up of the new line is scheduled for the end of 2024.
This acquisition further strengthens the Andritz product portfolio in the field of process control and automation systems for pulp and paper mills and other process plants.
Andritz has received an order from PT. Pabrik Kertas Indonesia (PT. Pakerin) to rebuild two existing OCC (old corrugated containers) lines for its mill in Surabaya, Indonesia.
With this new line Xuong Giang Paper’s tissue capacity will reach up to 72,000 tons per year.
Andritz to supply a pressurized refining system for production of sustainable insulation to Switzerland. The new production line is scheduled to commence operations in the Q3 2025.
Construction will begin in summer 2024, and the demo plant will be completed in late 2025.
The mechanical and electrical refurbishments will extend the ESPs’ lifetime and enable an increase of the boiler’s capacity while ensuring compliance with the current emission standards.
With a capacity to produce 2.1 million tons of eucalyptus pulp per year, the mill is the biggest in Uruguay and the world’s biggest single line mill in operation. It will also contribute around 1 TWh of surplus green electricity per year to the Uruguayan power supply.
The new line with a capacity of 7 tons per hour processes a mixture of spruce and pine wood chips to produce wood fiber insulation for the building construction and renovation sector.
Start-up of the upgraded plant is scheduled for April 2025.
In collaboration with Andritz, Wuzhou Special Paper has set a world record by achieving a capacity of 1,500 admt/d using just one HC refiner in its new production line.
The new tissue machine, with a width of 3.65 m and a maximum operation speed of 1,650 m/min, produces high quality household grades, including toilet paper, napkins, handkerchiefs, and facial tissue.
