Eredi Poli has been operating in the sawmill sector since 1956. The company was founded by Mario Poli as a sawmill and primary wood processing business. Initially, it produced bases for large household appliances (washing machines, freezers, and dishwashers) and timber for various industries. In 1962, it began producing packaging for the fruit and vegetable sector, and from 1963 focused on packaging for household appliances, which remained exclusive until 1980 when polystyrene packaging replaced it. Production continued until 1981 when the company specialized in manufacturing custom and standard pallets for various industries. Initially, all processes were manual, but over time automated machinery was introduced to increase production speed and volume. Since 1986, production has targeted chemical industry needs. In the 1990s, Mario Poli's son Amelio joined and currently manages the company. In 1992, Eredi Poli received the CP (Chemical Pallet) certification for pallets specific to chemical and pharmaceutical industries and was registered in the European manufacturers' register with number 557. This specialization has become the company's strength, making it the national leader in annual production over the past four years.
