RS Trommelservice AS manufactures cable drums and can also handle customers' return drums. Svensson Group is a European group specialized in drums and handling equipment for the cable, hose and wire industries. The company designs and manufactures cable drums in wood, plywood and plastic, and related lifting and handling equipment. With a presence across much of Sweden as well as in Norway and France, the organization can assist with efficient handling of return drums: it receives, repairs and sells return drums, primarily K-drums compliant with the SelCable standard, and also offers customer-specified drums on request. The company supplies both standard drums and bespoke special drums in wood, plywood and plastic for the cable, wire and hose industries, and designs and produces very large drums and lifting devices for offshore applications. Its drums can be used for all types of cables, wires, fiber-optic cables, profiles, umbilicals, plastic hoses and ropes. Plywood drums are suitable for installation cables, fiber-optic cables, wires and thin plastic hoses. Plastic drums are primarily used for textile tapes, ropes, liners, hoses, cables and wires.
