Parquet by Dian was founded by Anatoli Efros nearly 50 years ago with the goal of producing the finest wood floors in the world. Taking his extensive knowledge of woodworking and forestry, he developed a revolutionary wood floor construction, which is superior to any wood flooring made to date. Eliminating the tongue and groove, as well as numerous trade secrets and patents, allows Parquet By Dian to manufacture floors that have no limitations in design and provides clients with a floor that is stable year round and is able to withstand extreme conditions.
The design has proven itself over the years. It is easy to make claims, but the saying “time will tell”, is very accurate in this case. Even though Parquet By Dian manufactures floors for 1000’s of projects every year, there has never been a claim on any floor we have manufactured.
All the floors are still made by hand in the United States. All the lumber is still hand sorted for grade and color to our customer’s specification and milled by us, in our factory for each project. This attention to detail allows the unique color consistency that only Parquet By Dian can provide. The goal of each floor that is manufactured by Parquet By Dian is perfection. That is why the most discriminating clients from across the world consistently request Parquet By Dian to design and manufacture floors for their projects.
The founder of Parquet by Dian, Anatoli Efros, was born in Kiev in 1941. In addition to a Bachelor’s degree in lumber cutting and several other specialized degrees, Anatoli also earned a master’s degree in woodworking technology. Shortly after finishing his master’s degree, he was invited to work in the Ukrainian Woodworking Ministry, overseeing the production of wooden components for the construction industry.
