Da Prada Legnami has been operating in the wood sector since the 1940s in an area rich in conifer forests, facilitating raw material sourcing. In the 1960s, its supply market expanded to neighboring countries, especially Switzerland and Austria. With the introduction of new technologies, the company diversified its activities by integrating sawmill operations with the production of solid and laminated wood roofing and beech blocks for the fruit and vegetable sector. The use of CAD-CAM technology, specific to wooden construction, combined with four generations of experience, ensures reliability and deep knowledge in their fields of operation. In 2011, Da Prada Legnami received certification from the Central Technical Service of the Superior Council of Public Works for processing structural elements in solid and laminated wood (certificate no. 23/16 – CL).
