Timber processing has been carried out in Reopalu since 1953. Full-scale timber production began in 1972 when the frame saw line was completed. In 1992, the frame saw line was replaced with a circular saw line, which allowed reducing the workforce. Over the decades, the factory has been part of several Nordic forestry companies. Since July 2014, Combimill Reopalu has been part of Combiwood Group.
Combimill Reopalu's current factory equipment was renewed and modernised in 2015, and today we specialise in spruce timber production. The factory is equipped with modern technology - from 3D laser measuring devices for raw material measurement to fully automatic camera sorting for finished product manufacturing. The entire production process is digitally traceable, enabling consistent production of quality-standard products.
