Norsk Limtre AS provided glulam for a holiday cabin in Bjørgan after a request from a couple in Inderøy. The company manufactures panels, decking, cladding and slatted panels from glulam. Narrow slatted panels are milled to customer-specified widths and patterns and help reduce room reverberation. Norsk Limtre AS requires documentation and certifications from the forest to the finished product and sources wood from responsibly managed forests certified to FSC and PEFC standards. Glulam is described as environmentally friendly, dimensionally stable and having a high strength-to-weight ratio, enabling large-dimension timber products without compromising quality.
