Tajima Mokuzai was founded in Taisho 8 (1919). After overcoming many difficulties, the company has pursued initiatives ahead of competitors and diversified its operations. What began as a small sawmill dedicated to timber with a single circular saw has expanded into a wood housing components manufacturer that handles milling and processing, sells building materials and housing supplies, performs precut processing, and undertakes residential land subdivision. The company values persistence combined with continual adaptation, monitoring trends and adopting new challenges to ensure ongoing development.
