For round wood sections with a minimum length of 2.20 m and a diameter of 12 – 90 cm (90 cm envelope circle)
Configuration:
• Rotor opening 12 – 90 cm, measured from the trunk centre
• 5 debarking tools
• Max. conveyance speed 32 m/min
• Complete rotor can be hydraulically lifted and lowered, with self-centring device depending on the trunk diameter, acquisition of the diameter is performed by the hold-down rollers on the inlet and outlet side, rotor
bearing with a large rolling bearing
• Hold-down device: one oscillation-mounted tapered roller pair on the inlet and outside side respectively
• Separate hydraulic unit with pressure limiting valve and manometer, for adjusting the blade pressure with a rotor standstill (via quick-release coupling)
• Electrical control cabinet with freely programmable PLC control and all the requisite limit switches and photocells.
Options „variopress“ system:
Adjustment system for pressure adjustment and blade opening with a running rotor
• Pressure adjustment of the blade during operation (e.g. via radio)
• Opening/closing the blade during operation (e.g. via radio)
• Opening/closing the blade for model transport
• Opening the blade with malfunctions
• Improved debarking results through pressure adjustment of the blade (e.g. summer/winter
operation)
• The system operates without compressed air, i.e. all functions are performed hydraulically.
