Conifex appoints Spencer Bell as chief financial officer

Conifex Timber Inc., a Canadian lumber producer, appointed Spencer Bell as chief financial officer and corporate secretary, effective Oct. 1, 2026, according to Conifex.

Bell joined the company in 2021 and has held several leadership positions in its finance organization. He most recently served as corporate finance manager and previously worked as operations controller.

As corporate finance manager, Bell worked on the completion of Conifex’s Large Enterprise Tariff Loan of up to $30 million and $19 million in financing from the Business Development Bank of Canada.

Bell succeeds Trevor Pruden, who served Conifex for a decade.
