Brazil wood product pruducer prices rose 1.5% month over month in June 2026, the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) reported. The series was 1.7% higher from a year earlier.
The June reading matched the highest level in the past 12 months, equalling April 2025, and remained above the 12-month average. Despite reaching that 12-month peak, year-over-year growth is modest at 1.7%.
In June 2026, the exports of lumber from Brazil slipped 3% year-on-year, while the average price for lumber exported from Brazil rose 5% compared to May.
