The acquisition was first announced on June 9, 2026. PinkWood will retain its name and operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Canfor.
The operation adds 120 employees and 46 million linear feet of annual I-joist production capacity. Canfor manufactures forest products including lumber, engineered wood products, pulp and paper, wood pellets and green energy.
