Steel-framed homes accounted for 0.5% of completions. About 5 thousand steel-framed homes were completed in 2025, up 25% from the previous year.
Non-wood framing was concentrated primarily in the South. Concrete-framed homes accounted for 9% of all single-family home completions in the region in 2025.
