Madison's Lumber Prices Index for the week ending June 26, 2026, reached US$538 per thousand board feet, marking a 1% increase of $5 from the previous week's US$533, according to Madison's Lumber Reporter.
The index also rose 3% or $17 from one month ago when it stood at US$521.
Madison's constructs the index using the same species as futures – Western Spruce-Pine-Fir, Eastern Spruce-Pine-Fir, Douglas fir, and Hem-Fir – with weighted averages based on North American production volume ratios over recent years.
