EGGER Group has acquired a 65% stake in Kromaplast S.r.l., an Italian edging specialist based in Cessalto, Veneto. The transaction closed on September 30, 2026, EGGER Group announced.
Founded in 1990, Kromaplast serves the Italian furniture industry through edging processing, preparation, cutting and logistics. Its local storage facilities and flexible cutting batch sizes allow it to respond to individual customer requirements, while short transport distances provide quick delivery.
EGGER aims to use Kromaplast’s services to improve the availability of edging products from its plants in Gebze, Turkey, and Brilon, Germany. The acquisition will expand its service offering for furniture manufacturers in Italy.
