Madison's Lumber Prices Index for the week ending July 24, 2026, reached US$554 per thousand board feet, marking a 1% increase of $6 from the previous week's US$548, according to Madison's Lumber Reporter.

The index also rose 3% or $16 from one month ago when it stood at US$538.

Madison's constructs the index using the same species as futures -Western Spruce-Pine-Fir, Eastern Spruce-Pine-Fir, Douglas fir, and Hem-Fir - with weighted averages based on North American production volume ratios over recent years.
