The Europe Softwood Lumber Benchmark (EUSLB) rose to its one-year high of 387.2 USD/m3 in June 2026, up 9.7% month on month. It was up 4.8% from a year earlier. In the United Kingdom, the region’s largest import market, prices rose 10.6% and import volumes fell 8.0% month on month. The volume move included shipments from Ireland falling 35.9%, Germany rising 11.3% and Finland falling 8.8%. Since the start of the year, prices in the United Kingdom have risen 4.7% and import volumes have risen 43.6%. Year to date, the Europe Softwood Lumber Benchmark EUSLB has gained 2.9%.
